About Aileen
Graduated from the Conservatory of Music in Geneva, and currently studying at the HEM in Geneva, I followed a classical education while still working on pieces from the repertoire (Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, Debussy, etc.) which I have particularly liked from the start. Nevertheless I want the student to appreciate the repertoire that I offer him / her so that he / she feels comfortable and can express himself / herself fully.
I want to use my knowledge of foreign languages to provide piano lessons to non-French-speaking students, as I also have exotic origins.
I perceive teaching as a method of learning and as an exchange between the student and me . I believe that students can bring me new knowledge and expand my repertoire.

My goal is to share my knowledge without neglecting the personality and goals of my students by adapting my course to the desires and sensibilities of each. With or without music theory, I want to develop the specific interests of each student, while trying to introduce them to classical music (area where I have the most expertise).
I teach all levels, from 7 to 16 years old. For beginners who also require basic music theory, the weekly lesson is divided into 30min of music theory, then 30min of practice. For more advanced students, I offer weekly lessons from 1 hour to 1:30 am
I am able to teach piano in French, Italian, German, English and Mandarin.
