About Ellianna
My name is Ellianna, I am 18 and I adore the Spanish language. I have recently completed my A-level exams in History, Spanish and Latin, and thus I feel very qualified to help students learn Spanish, no matter the age or level. As a non-native speaker, my journey learning Spanish has taken extra motivation and, as a result, I can sympathise with students who might struggle with the language. Having achieved top scores in both GCSE and A-Level Spanish, I am confident in teaching students taking these exams. Not only can I teach exam courses but since I have spent countless months in Spain I am also able to help students improve their conversational skills and confidence when speaking Spanish. My past tutees have been able to jump from a 4 to an 8 in their GCSE exams, so I have no doubt that I can help students starting from any point to achieve their fullest potential.

Having tutored Spanish since the age of 15, I understand how difficult it is for many students to grasp a new language, especially if it’s for school and exams. Despite this, I have developed a fun and practical approach that involves conversational talking, visual slideshows, and active recall. Having taken Spanish GCSE and A-level as a non-native speaker, I have made a plethora of tools and resources throughout the years that my past tutees have also found very helpful. Through immersive lessons and at-home resources, I can provide all the foundations to help students improve and thrive in Spanish.
