About Leah
I am a dedicated student who understands the struggles of other students. Having been diagnosed with ADHD in the 4th grade, I had to work harder than some of my peers and learn on a personal level how to tailor my own education so that I had the best chance of success. I am now a successful college student at a prestigious public college. My goal is to make this possible for you as well! I come from a long line of educators, and although this is not what I am pursuing my degree in, I use my educating skills through tutoring. Let's work together and see what we can accomplish! For High School aged students: I can meet on Zoom with students to review essays and resumes as well as current coursework. I will assess the needs of students upon first meeting and build a comprehensive plan tailored to the individual. Available for ACT, SAT, and College Prep For Undergraduate students: I can provide tutoring in Political Science, History, Philosophy, and English. I am available to meet by Zoom and/or review papers and make comments asynchronously. For lower grade Primary School students: I am available to meet by Zoom for lessons on English and reading or basic writing skills. I have three years of experience volunteering in public primary schools. I provide personalized tutoring tailored to each student’s learning style, offering expert guidance in essay writing, college prep, and lower-level education. With a patient and encouraging approach, I help students build confidence, develop effective study strategies, and achieve long-term academic success.
