About Lukas
I am currently a Master's student in international relations in the Netherlands. I have a French high school diploma and studied afterwards at Côte d'Azur University in Nice/ France. I give language classes (Latin, English, French) since 10 years and only had good experience so far. My classes are interactive, using different materials and online platforms. I teach online, especially since covid, which is often very convenient for both the students and myself as we can schedule the classes quite flexibly. I am myself 23 years old and interested in sharing my passion for France and its beautiful language.

My teaching approach in French is very much based on interactivity. A language is best learned while connecting vocabulary and grammar to a broader context. It is important to start speaking the language as soon as possible. Conversations are thus a major component of the classes. Moreover, the reading of easy and simple texts can be integrated quite early in the learning process. Being a native German speaker, I had to learn French myself as well and know what the difficult parts of the language are. I can trace back perfectly the step by step approach of my former teachers and my own learning process. With this in mind, I try to guide my students as best as possible.
