About John
I studied Songwriting and Performance (BA Hons) at Paul McCartney's music school (LIPA) with vocals as my first instrument. I have 12 years experience performing in a variety of genres including jazz, classical, folk, pop and musical theatre. I've also passed my Grade 8 in singing and Grade 5 theory (ABRSM).

My teaching style is relaxed and tailored towards your wants and needs. I'm happy for you to bring something to the lesson to work on, but I will also make a plan based on what you want to achieve. In my lessons we can look at phrasing, diction, breathing, and projection as well as using proven exercises that guarantee success. Whether you're looking to pass grade exams or just want to work on repertoire, I can help you reach your singing goals.

John is a great Tutor. He communicates his teaching style clearly and always makes it easy for the student to understand the task at hand. John is reliable and patient. You can definitely see he has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to music.
