About Conner
I am a substitute teacher whose writing has always come naturally. I have over 60 college credit hours while receiving A’s and B’s in all my English classes. I am passionate about writing and learning and while I may not be the most credentialed tutor, on a personal level I am truly one of the best tutors you’ll find. Tutoring is as much about learning about people as it is about subjects and creating a strong connection with a student is the most conducive thing to learning.

I utilize a “go with the flow” approach to tutoring, allowing the student to truly learn and create connections on their own. A cookie cutter style is good for some people but not everyone, and everyone deserves to write good essays.
Lessons will involve developing word choice to keep essays formal, examining the thesis and points to make them pop in the readers mind in a simple and clear manner, how to connect ideas both in the paper and mentally to make writing easier, and how to create an outline, introduction, body, and conclusion for a great essay.
I am a patient and down to earth tutor who understands how to change lesson plans and teaching style based on each individual to create something that is optimal for them.
