About Leanna
In addition to teaching hundreds of students a year, I regularly tutor students who are struggling or assist those who want to advance. I've been the head of a public high school's world language department, have my Master's in Ed, and take continuing ed German immersion courses every two years in Bar Harbor Maine with German teachers across the globe and from Germany. I have presented at the national ACTFL presentation on effective teaching techniques and curriculum design.

I've been teaching levels 1-Dual Enrollment (Univ of Pittsburgh) for 25 years. I've grown a public high school program that prepares students for living with a German family, participation in an exchange program, and entering college German courses at a 201 or 301 level. I can help you to understand the complexities of German grammar and work on improving your conversational capabilities.
