About Julie
I have taught in Further Education and to adults and supported lessons in primary schools for more than 10 years. My role as a mother to two sets of twins also taught me the value of the primary school lessons and for children to gain as much from these lessons and this time of their education as possible. I gained my BEd in Education in 1988 and worked for many years in a primary school focusing on children's speech and this is the title of my thesis for my honours degree.
I believe in using Art to encourage children to express themselves and I also believe in a step by step approach and learning at the right level and pace for every individual as we are all different and all capable.

I wish to provide support for primary school aged children throughout their education. Providing support and methods of learning to assist them to learn and enjoy learning throughout their primary school years. I would encourage them through Art to express themselves and for those who find subjects difficult to find enjoyment in all areas of their learning. I would provide lesson structures and break down their learning into sizeable chunks to maintain interest and would provide feedback, positive feedback for all work undertaken. Every child has way of learning and it would be my job to find the best possible way forward.
