About Juliet
I am a French tutor with more than 5 years of experience teaching adult learners from professional backgrounds. I also hold an MA in French for Global Communication, which helps me connect language learning with real international contexts. My teaching is especially designed for people working in the art market.
My lessons are structured around clear goals and practical communication. I work with gallerists, collectors, and art professionals who want to use French in their daily work. Each session focuses on language that is directly relevant to the art world.
Role-play activities are an important part of my lessons. Students practise presenting artworks, negotiating sales, and speaking with collectors in French. These simulations build confidence and fluency.
We also discuss important art movements and artists. Through these conversations, learners expand their vocabulary while deepening their understanding of art history and culture. I introduce specialised language used in appraisals, exhibitions, and gallery communication.

My teaching approach focuses on helping students use French confidently in everyday food conversations. I design lessons that combine language learning with the culture of French cuisine. Students learn practical vocabulary used in restaurants and kitchens.
We study ingredients, cooking methods, and menu expressions. Learners practise describing dishes and explaining recipes. This makes learning both useful and enjoyable.
Role-plays allow students to practise ordering meals and asking about dishes. These activities build natural speaking skills. Students feel comfortable communicating in real dining situations.
I also include discussions about French gastronomy and regional specialties. Learners expand vocabulary while learning about culture. Each lesson strengthens both language and confidence.
My lessons support exam-focused learners and academic students who want clear progress. I guide them through structured practice and conversation activities. Together we make French conversations about food engaging and delicious.
