About Sophie
Hello, I’m Sophie. I am a native Mandarin speaker, fluent in English, and an advanced French learner living and studying in Québec. Because I learned French as an adult, I understand the difficulties beginners face and can explain concepts clearly in Mandarin or English.
I am patient, attentive, organized, and encouraging. I enjoy helping children feel comfortable, overcome their fear of mistakes, and gradually become more confident using French in school and everyday life.

I offer friendly and structured French lessons for children and beginners. Lessons are adapted to each student’s age, level, schoolwork, and learning goals. We can practise pronunciation, everyday vocabulary, reading, simple conversation, grammar, and homework.
I can explain difficult points in Mandarin or English when needed, helping students feel comfortable and understand clearly. My approach is patient, encouraging, and practical. I want students to gain confidence, speak more naturally, and enjoy learning French without being afraid of mistakes.
