About Emma
I had always struggled with English in high school, constantly thinking 'why is this compulsory?' and 'I have no idea how to write an essay properly!' It was only when I was about to complete my HSC trials where writing an essay clicked, and I have been writing essays at University and tutoring the HSC English syllabus ever since!

My aim is to make sure students have the foundations of English and essay writing in place so they are able to synthesise the content they are learning.
A typical series of lessons would look like this:
An introductory 20 minutes, letting the student establish their strengths and growth areas, followed by 20 minutes planning the rest of the terms tutoring sessions to ensure all growth areas are stronger by the end of the term, or by the time of the assignment.
Lessons that follow would be dedicated to synthesizing content and writing skills according to specified growth areas.
