About Augustine Paul
Mr.Augustine Paul, Hindustani Classical Tabla teacher.
Born and educated in Coimbatore passion for Tabla drew me to Temple of Fine Arts where I learnt under Guru Shri . Kedar Kharat of Pune who avails in the lineage of Gurus Pandit K.L.Samanth Guruji of Pune and Ustad Allah Rakha Khan the doyan of the Punjab gharana.
I, Mr.Augustine Paul took special training under guru "Talmani" Sri Vikas Purandare of Pune. Later became more involved as a teacher in Temple of Fine Arts. Widely performed in Temple of Fine Arts International centers – Chennai, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Penang and Johor Bahru on special occasions. For the past few years learning under Guru Shri Nisar Ahmed of Bangalore, who is the disciple of Pandit Basavraj Bendigiri and KL Jamadar of darwad, I have taken up to specialise in Hindustani classical Tabla which is my life time passion. Being in Temple of Tine Arts for nearly 16 years I earn to learn more and also teach the traditional methods and techniques of Tabla.
I have also completed a BA degree in Mrudangam in Annamalai University and I took up coaching from Guru Mr.Ka.Mani and Mr. Raghunath of Coimbatore.
