About 凱
I love traveling, making friends, learning languages, photography and I am trying to be eco-friendly. If you have the same interests, we can have a topic conversation like digital nomad, culture difference, photography, minimalism, trying to be vegan etc. During the first trial lesson, I will show you all of my materials to tell you how I teach and test my students' vocabulary through online flashcards, use virtual scenarios to have conversations and use online whiteboards to gamify our lesson. These teaching methods are suitable for absolute beginners. If you are intermediate learners, I will teach you some sentences which only local people would say. So don't hesitate and book my lesson.

I have 2 teaching modes. First mode is creating lots of topics every lesson with some interesting materials like Quizlet to test vocabulary, Canva to have virtual scenario conversation, I even take students to have a real-time practice when they are confident. Second mode is conventional mode. I have HSK for simplified Chinese learners, Contemporary Chinese Course for traditional Chinese learners. I also do Quizlet to Wordwall to check the learning condition. It's good for students who want to have more structured lessons. Some students choose the mixed mode. Using lots of interesting materials to make students not feel bored is the difference between me and other tutors. I have taught Chinese for more than 600+ classes this year. I have taught 38 students in the past year and currently teaching 15 students every week. My students' age is from 12 to 60 years old with different specialties. They are mostly absolute beginners.

Kai is an amazing teacher, I've been working with him for the last 2 months and really can confirm he has a knack on teaching, an incredible attitude and a great attention to his students. Kai always comes with new contents, pushing the conversation to the next level and always setting the bar to the level you want to achieve. While working with Kai, I've observed major improvements in my spoken part, our lessons spans across topics, useful situations and fun moments of daily life (now I can order Bubble Tea with no Sugar and some ice :) ). Really like his way of teaching and hope to continue with him for long.
His use of modern, interactive platforms really engages the learner.
