About Mizan
While I currently work as a Big 4 Tax Consultant, English has always been my true academic passion. What I love most about the subject is that there is rarely just one "right" answer. It pushes you to think critically, embrace open interpretation, and argue your perspective with logic and nuance; skills I rely on every single day in my professional career.
Over the past 5 years of tutoring, I’ve realised that many students struggle with English simply because it feels subjective or chaotic. My goal is to change that. I love helping students strip away the stress, find their own analytical voice, and transform their ideas into top-band essays. Watching my students gain confidence and unlock higher grades is easily the most rewarding part of my week!

I deliver structured 1.5 to 2-hour online lessons tailored specifically for GCSE students. Rather than just reading texts, we focus heavily on the AO mark schemes, identifying key authorial techniques, and executing top-mark essay structures.
Backing this up with almost 5 years of tutoring success, double 9s at GCSE, an A* at A-Level and a KCL degree, I teach students how to think and write like examiners.
