About Laura
Quiet moments of tuning often reveal the most about a student. I find that initial concentration sets the tone for everything that follows. We use custom backing tracks to assist with your soloing practice.

The sound of steel strings against wood provided my first real musical memory. Fingerpicking techniques and proper chord transitions form the basis of my instruction. I utilise my MMus Voice from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama to understand phrasing across all instruments.
Students range from hobbyists to advanced performers focusing on complex soloing. Reading sheet music and tabs is essential for every player.
My 13 years of experience simplify difficult concepts. I prioritise efficiency. Grade exam prep is a regular component of our work together. You will find my teaching style is steady and measured.
