I graduated from The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) in Fall 2025 with a Bachelor's degree in Finance, where I developed strong analytical, writing, and communication skills. Throughout my academic career, I completed extensive research, presentations, and written assignments that strengthened my command of English grammar and writing.
As a tutor, I am patient, professional, and committed to helping every student succeed. I tailor each lesson to the student's learning style, provide clear explanations, and create a supportive environment where questions are encouraged. My approach is student-centered and focused on building confidence. I begin by identifying each student's strengths and areas for improvement, then create lessons tailored to their goals. I explain concepts clearly, use guided practice, and provide immediate feedback to reinforce learning.
For SAT Writing, I focus on grammar, punctuation, sentence structure, word choice, and the strategies needed to answer questions efficiently. For English tutoring, I help students improve reading comprehension, writing, vocabulary, and overall communication skills.
A typical lesson includes a review of previous material, instruction on a new concept, guided practice with real examples, independent practice, and a review of mistakes to ensure lasting understanding. I also provide tips and strategies students can use outside of tutoring sessions.
My lessons are designed for middle school, high school, and early college students, as well as anyone preparing for the SAT Writing & Language section or looking to strengthen their English skills. I strive to create a supportive, patient learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making progress at their own pace.
