If you want to learn darbuka or bendir you have come to the right place.
I have been playing recording and teaching for 17 years.
I teach all levels and after the lesson I’ll send you videos of what we covered so you can concentrate on learning.

In the lessons we can look at techniques, phrase development, soloing, accompaniment, odd rhythms and creation of your own sound.
I have a good knowlegde of traditional rhythms from Turkey, the Balkans, Egypt. I can teach darbuka and bendir from beginner to advanced level. Riq, indian tabla, konnakol, cajon, daf, indian tabla and percussion set ups can also be taught to a good level.
I also have Online Courses for Darbuka with lessons from Beginner to Advanced level concentrating on rhythms for accompaniment in the Turkish style. Check it out and if you register on the site you get updates, free lessons etc
