I have a great passion for helping people work towards their learning goals, and it gives me genuine joy when I see someone begin to improve and gain confidence after a number of lessons with me. I am deeply interested in linguistics, the origins of words and how languages connect.

My teaching philosophy involves a hands-on approach using a mix of exercises and spontaneous conversation, with a focus on engagement and subjects of interest for the student, so they can talk about what's most relevant to them. A lesson lasts one hour and features a mix of activities to keep each section fun and engaging. I teach all ages but have a preference for adults of A1-B1 level. During my two years teaching in Italy, I taught students of various ages and levels, helping to improve their speaking, comprehension and confidence conversing in a foreign language.
