About Charlotte
I am a qualified Fashion Designer and Fashion Technologist with strong expertise in garment construction, pattern cutting, and sewing techniques. My technical training was further refined through an apprenticeship on Savile Row, where I developed a deep understanding of precision tailoring and high-quality craftsmanship.
For the past 6 years, I have been teaching sewing, pattern making, and fashion construction to students of all levels, helping them build both confidence and technical skills in a supportive and professional environment.
I also spent 2 years working in a London Fashion Week designer studio, where I was assisting in supervising and mentoring teams of interns in preparation for fashion shows and editorial shoots. This experience strengthened my ability to lead, teach, and communicate technical processes clearly and efficiently under pressure.
I am known for being patient, detail-oriented, and highly committed to quality. My goal as a teacher is not only to help students complete their projects successfully, but also to give them a solid understanding of professional garment construction techniques and industry standards.

I offer sewing classes for all levels, from complete beginners to more advanced students. I am extremely patient and adapt each lesson to the student’s pace and goals.
I usually begin by asking my students to create a moodboard. This helps us define their inspirations and aesthetic direction. After that, we discuss their expectations and objectives for the project. If the student is unsure about sketching styles, I show different examples and guide them through practical exercises.
Once the sketch is finalized, we move on to pattern making. I provide a basic pattern block, which we modify according to the student’s morphology and personal measurements taken earlier during the lesson.
After the pattern-making stage comes pinning and cutting. At this point, I teach the essential technical notions the student needs to understand before working with fabric.
Once the pieces are cut, we establish a manufacturing order, including all the construction steps and quality checkpoints. I am usually present throughout the sewing process to guide and assist, but depending on the student’s preferences and autonomy, I can also help them continue independently between classes and review their progress during the following session.
With me, students have the opportunity to learn garment construction thoroughly and professionally, while following high technical standards in a supportive and creative environment.

Charlotte is a great teacher! I had no notions at all but she managed to teach me in a intelligible, easy and spontaneous way.
Her technical level is unbeatable and she also have very relevant design notions. She started in Savile Row and now she can also teach me very high tailoring notions: basting, patterning, the chalk and horse hair use. She also helped me to build my portfolio, showing me how to develop a concept from scratch. She truly have the knowledge from the sketch until the finished product. She did also help me loads with technical drawings on illustrator when I had to build a tech pack for production.
I really recommend her, she is the most multitasker person I have ever met ! Thanks Charlotte for your precious help and devotion !xx
