About Jelisa
I am a newly qualified teacher, but I have been teaching for 2 years. I find that being new to the profession has helped me develop uniques teaching techniques that all my students have enjoyed and progressed from. My students have become autonomous learners.

I am a teacher from London, who enjoys helping students become independent learners. I believe we learn most through doing and acquiring knowledge through our own experiences. I prefer to use mostly active learning techniques which may require you to watch videos, or create visual presentations of knowledge you will acquire in my lessons. Equally I also value using more traditional methods of learning, and frequently advise my learners on books, journals and articles that may be relevant to topic they are studying.
Previously I have taught in secondary schools. I am currently teaching in adult education, while I am completing my masters in Psychology.
