About Carissa
Hi there!
I am Carissa- currently an elementary school teacher but taught middle school and high school for 8 years. I love finding ways to make content relevant to you and your life.
When I am not in the classroom, I am likely outside with my Mini Aussie, running (yes, for fun) and whenever possible, scuba diving with all the fish and other animals I can find!

Adapted to the style of learning in your class, I match lessons to the student. My typical lesson plan depends strongly on the student I am working with and can include:

With an MAT in Inquiry Based Learning and 10+ Years teaching Middle School STEM, Elementary school engineering, SAT/ACT test prep and high school physics, I just love helping students reach those "ah ha!" moments.
