About Serene
Since graduating high school in 2015, I have worked in classrooms with students aged 4 to 15 who have a variety of learning needs. I love working one-on-one with students to make sure they really understand the material. When I was in school as a kid and teenager, I often did not understand the way the teacher was explaining something, but I was too shy to ask questions, or I feared it would take too much time for me to understand. Since then, I have learned lots of study techniques and ways to break down tough topics into a way that I can understand. I want to show every student that they CAN understand the curriculum no matter how long it takes. Sometimes we just need a little extra help to achieve our goals. I would love to be the one to help!
