About Carlos
Most learners struggle because they never actually get to use the English they study in a real context. I find that starting with your specific goals makes the entire process much faster and more effective. We will focus on idioms and expressions that you can use in your next meeting immediately. I pull from my 13 years of experience to curate materials that keep you engaged and moving forward.
Business English is often about clarity rather than perfect grammar. You will receive free access to my personal vocabulary notes for additional study. We tackle interview preparation and TOEFL preparation by focusing on practical outcomes. This remains my primary focus for all intermediate learners.

Growing up in Sherbrooke meant living in two languages simultaneously, which eventually led me to bridge the gap between English and French professionally. I am a bilingual coach who treats language as a necessary skill for the modern workplace. 176 students have worked with me to improve their speaking confidence and professional delivery. Adult learners, business travellers, and students appreciate my direct and articulate approach to instruction.
I use my CELTA training and university background to demystify complex grammar foundations. Writing skills and everyday conversation are staples in my coaching sessions. My goal is to ensure you feel capable when navigating your career. I look forward to working with you soon.
