About Zachary
I recently graduated summa cum laude from Boston University with a BS in Business Administration, concentrating in Business Analytics. With over five years of tutoring experience and two years as a statistics teaching assistant, I’ve supported students across a range of business and analytics subjects.
As President of LOCK Tutoring, BU Questrom’s oldest student organization, I lead a team of 70+ tutors and 12 board members serving over 2,500 undergraduates. I’ve personally tutored 100+ students one-on-one and led review sessions for more than 900.
I specialize in subjects like Statistics, Accounting, Business Ethics, Finance, Marketing, and Organizational Behavior, as well as technical tools like Excel, Python, SQL, and foundational machine learning. I create custom lesson plans and practice problems that reflect course content. I take a hands-on, practice-based approach centered on student engagement.
I create custom practice problems based on each student’s course and needs.
During sessions, the student does the heavy lifting. I guide, question, and clarify.
Each lesson includes walkthroughs, concept checks, and extra problems to work on independently.
I’ve tutored hundreds of students in high school and college-level statistics, including business-focused courses.
My goal is to build confidence through repetition, clear thinking, and problem-solving skills that stick.
