About Chumani
I am born and raised in New York City. My father is a French-American immigrant and my mother is American who lived in France for many years. So I grew up in a bilingual home and have always been my father’s personal English teacher and translator. Through this experience I have come to appreciate and admire the challenge and dedication it takes to learn a completely new language. I love being a supportive presence as a teacher and guide through this challenge. My students leave feeling confident practicing their new English language skills.
