About Nicole
I have been in education for over 25 years. My experience began in a small inner school for the gifted and talented where I was hired as the violin teacher for 5-8 year old children. It was there that I discovered my passion for teaching children. It is also there where I was able to gain classroom experience by assisting the classroom teachers in their daily activities between my group violin lessons. Since then I have taught violin lessons for private companies, and worked in education as a Speech and Language Therapist and then later as a classroom teacher. I've worked in cities, suburbs, private schools, title one schools, music companies, churches and now online. I am fortunate to be able to do what I love for such a long time and still learn and grow in this field. I look forward to working with all students, new and old.

-Academic tutoring sessions are tailored to individual needs with a variety of ways to grasp concepts. Sessions are broken up into 4-15 minute segments that allow students to explore the concept, develop the strategy, engage in useful strategies and apply skills to reach mastery. -Violin lessons sessions are focused on fine-tuning the basic skills that being a violinist relies on. Bowing, application, reading music and creating unique rhythm practices to drill skill into our muscle memory. Students also get to learn traditional classical music as well as pop classical songs to play along with in our sessions.
