About Terra
Born into a family of teachers, I followed their legacy by attaining my Music Education degree in 2023. Throughout college I maintained a full schedule of private lesson students and worked for The Mathnasium Tutoring center while perfecting my teaching style, curriculum maps, and engagement techniques. Post-graduation I worked full-time for two years as a classroom teacher before adjusting my goals to focus more on mentorship and private tutoring positions in a 1:1 setting.

I follow a very clear format for my lessons.
- Recap with the student on their goals, class/homework, and upcoming exams.
- Layout and explain the lesson's schedule based on their responses.
- Explain necessary missing concepts or introduce new concepts.
- Guide through a minimum of 4 sample problems.
- Provide follow up independent-based problems for the student to complete.
- Transition to homework if applicable.
- Check all homework for accuracy before the session is complete.
- When applicable, recap the session with the student's guardian to ensure alignment with their goals for the student.
