About Rana
This past year I worked as a fourth grade teacher while also studying to complete my degree in Elementary Education and Sociology. I am confident in my abilities as a K-6 tutor and teacher and will be able to help the best I can in ensuring that you will achieve your goals and continue your journey of growth and education. I am graduating with my teaching license in Massachusetts in December and will be continuing my education by pursuing a Reading Masters in January.

I pride myself in being able to create a safe learning environment for all my students! It is important for me to ensure all my students are comfortablein my classroom while also being able to be themselves and enjoytheir time during my lessons.I promote a growth mindset for me and my students, encouraging the Power of Yet. Even though we are not where we want to be, with hard work and learning from our mistakes, we are all able to grow and learn from each other. I have taught 4th grade for a year and am experienced proving math, literacy, science and social studies lessons in grades 1-6. I also completed a minor in Spanish and would love to teach beginner Spanish lessons and provide additional tutoring.
