About Sanjana
Hi, I’m Sanjana - a Computer Science student from GNITS, Hyderabad, and a trained Carnatic vocalist with over 10 years of experience. I’m also pursuing formal music education from Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University. Music has been a part of my life since childhood, and teaching allows me to pass on not just the techniques but also the stories, emotions, and values that make Carnatic music so rich and timeless. I believe in nurturing each student’s unique voice and helping them connect deeply with the art form. Whether you're just starting out or looking to grow further, I’m here to guide you with patience, care, and commitment.

As a teacher, I focus on building a strong foundation in Carnatic music through a balance of theory, practice, and storytelling. Every swaram, varnam, and keerthana we learn comes with its own cultural and historical background, which I share to deepen understanding and emotional connection to the music.
My classes are held twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays at 7PM for 1.5 hours each. Each session includes voice training, swaram exercises, and lessons on compositions, along with interactive discussions to enhance learning.
My teaching approach is patient, structured, and adaptive to each student’s pace and goals. I emphasize not just singing, but also understanding why we sing a piece a certain way.
These classes are open to learners of all age groups - school children, college students, and adults alike , whether you are a beginner or looking to advance your skills.
