About Oleg
I'm a 16-year-old teenage Israeli chess champion, I bring both competitive experience and a strong theoretical understanding of the game. I don’t just teach how to move the pieces, I help young players think like real strategists. I’ve already worked with children and found that I connect especially well with younger age groups. My students feel comfortable, engaged, and excited to learn. I know how to explain complex ideas in a way that’s fun and understandable, keeping the lessons lively and effective.

My teaching style is interactive and adapted to each child’s pace. I focus on building a strong foundation: tactics, openings, planning, and logical thinking. Lessons usually begin with a quick puzzle or warm-up, followed by a focused topic, and end with a practice game or recap.
I make sure that kids enjoy the process, while also learning valuable mental skills like concentration, patience, and creative problem-solving. Because I’m close in age to many of my students, I understand how they think — and that helps me explain things in a way they truly connect with.
My lessons are best suited for children aged 5 to 13, from total beginners to intermediate players. Whether your child is just starting or already knows the basics, I’ll help them grow step by step with a clear, supportive approach.
