About Diana

Good to Know About Me
I believe that learning English should be a positive and rewarding experience. After spending many years working in the medical field, I recently retired from my career and decided to follow my passion for helping others by working in ESL education.
I am TEFL-certified and have experience teaching adult English learners. My professional background has taught me the importance of patience, communication, listening, and meeting people where they are—all qualities I bring to my ESL lessons.
Outside of teaching, I love to travel and enjoy learning about different cultures and meeting people from around the world. I understand that learning a language is about more than grammar and vocabulary; it is also about connecting with people and feeling comfortable in new situations.
My husband and I have been together for 31 years. We also have a 26-year-old daughter. Family, travel, and lifelong learning are important parts of my life.
I look forward to getting to know you, learning about your goals, and helping you become a more confident English speaker!

About the lesson

Learn English with Confidence!
Are you learning English and want to feel more confident speaking, understanding, reading, and writing? I’m here to help!
I am a TEFL-certified ESL tutor with 2 years of experience teaching English to adult learners. I enjoy helping students improve their English in a supportive, relaxed, and encouraging environment where making mistakes is a natural part of learning.
What I Can Help You With
• ️ Speaking & Conversation – Practice real-life conversations and become more comfortable speaking English.
• Grammar – Learn grammar in a simple, easy-to-understand way.
• ️ Writing – Improve sentences, emails, messages, and everyday writing.
• Listening & Understanding – Practice understanding English as it is spoken in everyday situations.
• Vocabulary – Build useful vocabulary for work, school, travel, and daily life.
• Everyday English – Learn practical English for shopping, appointments, transportation, restaurants, and other everyday situations.
My Teaching Approach
I believe English should be useful, practical, and enjoyable. Instead of simply memorizing rules, we'll practice English in situations you are likely to encounter in real life.
I adapt my lessons to your level, goals, interests, and learning style. Whether you are a beginner who is just starting to speak English or an intermediate student who wants to become more fluent, I will meet you where you are and help you move forward.
I am patient and encouraging, and I want my students to feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. You don't have to speak perfect English to start improving your English!
Let's Reach Your English Goals!
Whether your goal is to speak more confidently, communicate at work, prepare for everyday situations, improve your grammar, or simply feel more comfortable using English, we can create lessons that work for you.
Book a lesson with me, and let's start building your English confidence together!
