About Mia
I graduated from Liverpool John Moores University in 2022 where I studied English Literature and Creative Writing, and further developed my passion for the English language. In 2023 I took a TEFL course which allowed me to move to Barcelona and teach English as a foreign language as a Language Assistant in a school. Aside from this, I gave private tutoring lessons to both children and adults, developing English skills and improving fluency in accordance with their individual goals, and studied language teaching at the International University of Catalunya. I am excited to continue my passion for teaching English as a foreign language online.

I have a TEFL qualification and two further teaching qualifications from the International University of Catalunya. I have been teaching English in schools in Barcelona for the past two years, and tutoring both children and adults alongside this. In my lessons I encourage lots of speaking practice to improve fluency and confidence in speaking English. Lessons range from 45 minutes to 1 hour.
