About Delsie
Hello there! My name is Delsie and I am from Zimbabwe. I am passionate about teaching, meeting new people, and creating a fun, accepting environment where my students feel safe enough to confidently speak English, make mistakes, and learn from them.
I enjoy conversation, which is why I teach conversational English. Learning is much easier when you're doing something you actually enjoy, like discussing a topic you like!
Throughout my tutoring career, I've noticed that people gain the most confidence to speak with native speakers when they constantly practice. I am here to provide the perfect platform to help you practice.

I find that learning a new language works best when you actually practice speaking it. That’s why my lessons are designed to keep the conversation going!
Before class, I find topics you’re interested in; like current events, travel, pop culture, or everyday hobbies, so that we can read and discuss them together. Our discussions last about 50 minutes and are great practice for building your confidence.
I have 4 years of experience tutoring students ranging from ages 6 to 58 and I absolutely love engaging with people and helping them improve their skills. I can't wait to meet you!
