About Andrew
I'm a Year 12 student who achieved ten grade 9s at GCSE, and I'm currently studying A-level Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry. I've also studied A-level maths and further maths content early, so I know exactly where each GCSE topic leads.
Maths and English have always come naturally to me, and I love getting into the detail of why maths methods work, not just how to apply them. When students see the reasoning behind a formula, it sticks far better than memorising it. Because my GCSEs were so recent, I know what the exams feel like and which topics trip students up. I'm patient, friendly and happy to explain something a different way until it clicks.

My lessons focus on understanding why methods work, not just memorising them. I explain each topic step by step, then work through exam-style questions and past papers together, so students build confidence and speed. I set practice questions after each lesson and go at your pace.
Lessons are online and last 45 or 60 minutes, with longer 90-minute sessions available for exam revision. I tutor GCSE and KS3 maths, further maths, English language, English literature and the sciences, for students aiming for a grade 9 or just needing help getting started. I can also help with A-level maths and year 12 further maths.
