About Taylor
Hi! I’m Taylor, and music has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve spent the past ten years studying voice classically, and along the way I’ve also developed as a songwriter, musician, and performer. Because of that, I understand both the technical side of singing and the much more personal side of learning how to feel confident in your own voice.
As a vocal coach, I want my students to feel comfortable experimenting, making mistakes, asking questions, and figuring out what makes their voice unique. I focus on healthy technique, breath support, resonance, pitch, control, and musicality, but I also make sure lessons reflect each student’s individual goals and the music they actually enjoy singing.
My own musical background spans classical music, contemporary styles, songwriting, and performance, so I love working with students who want to explore everything from choir and musical theater to pop, jazz, indie, or their own original music.
Most importantly, I try to create a space that feels encouraging and judgment-free. Singing can be incredibly vulnerable, and I want every student to leave lessons feeling more knowledgeable, more confident, and more excited about their voice than when they walked in.

My teaching approach is supportive, flexible, and centered around helping each student understand and trust their own voice. I use a combination of classical vocal technique, breathing exercises, resonance work, ear training, and repertoire-based practice, adapting each lesson to the student’s goals, experience, and preferred musical styles.
A typical lesson begins with breathing and vocal warmups, followed by targeted technique exercises. We then work through a song or piece of repertoire, focusing on areas such as tone, pitch, diction, phrasing, range, and emotional expression. I also explain the reasoning behind each exercise so students understand how their voice works rather than simply copying sounds.
What sets me apart is my ten years of classical vocal training, along with my experience as a musician and songwriter. I understand both the technical and creative sides of singing, so I can help students build healthy technique while still developing their own unique sound and artistic identity.
My lessons are suitable for beginners through intermediate singers, including students preparing for auditions, performances, choir, musical theatre, songwriting, or simply wanting to become more confident and comfortable with their voice.
