About Kenny

I’m a certified level 2 ITF coach.I’m been playing professionally all my life and played Davis Cup for my country. I have been coaching for nearly 5 years and been working with different clubs across London. I’m currently the private coach of a LTA player. I’m also the official tennis coach of Brunel University London and help the team get promoted.

Whenever my movements were not quite right, he always took the time to correct me carefully and explain the exact logic behind each technique. He truly understands tennis on a deep level — every time I hit a ball incorrectly, he could immediately point out which specific step went wrong and why. His explanations are always clear, and he knows exactly how to help me adjust.

He also has great training methods for learners. For example, when my strength wasn’t enough, he introduced resistance bands to help me build the power I needed before moving on. He can spot problems instantly and provide very targeted solutions that really improve my performance.

On top of that, he is very friendly and easy to work with. I genuinely enjoy learning from him and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy and professional coach.

What age did you start playing sport? Tell us about this time or moment in your life.
I started playing tennis when I was about 5 years old, after watching a local tournament that completely inspired me. From that moment, the court became my second home.
What are your favourite sports; those that you practice at a high level, a simple hobby, and a sport that you'd still like to discover?
Tennis is my main sport and my biggest passion — I train and compete at a high level, but I also enjoy running and cycling as hobbies. One day, I’d love to try surfing for something completely new.
What gives you the motivation and passion to pursue your sport?
What drives me most is the constant challenge tennis brings — every match is an opportunity to grow both mentally and physically.
Do you have a sporting achievement that you're particularly proud of?
My proudest achievements so far are winning an ITF Junior tournament and a national championship, moments that made all the hard work and dedication worth it.
How have your achievements and challenges made you a better sportsperson?
The challenges I’ve faced, from tough losses to intense training periods, have taught me resilience, patience, and focus.
If you had to go for a jog with a famous athlete, who would you choose? And what questions would you ask them?
If I could go for a jog with a famous athlete, I’d choose Roger Federer. I’d ask him how he stays so calm, creative, and consistent under pressure.
How do you help people stay motivated?
To help others stay motivated, I always encourage them to set clear goals, trust their process, and enjoy every step of improvement.
What makes you a Superprof in sports?
What makes me a Superprof in tennis is my experience as a competitive player, my deep understanding of the game, and my ability to inspire others to push beyond their limits while keeping their love for the sport alive.
