Miss Dena is a certified American Sign Language instructor with all clearances, teaching beginner ASL classes to thousands of children in the classroom and online for over 13 years. A busy homeschooling mom of three, small business owner and teacher, Miss Dena is a caring and hardworking mama, practicing joy-filled life and self-directed education. Come join the FUN!

What’s better than ASL classes that are upbeat, music-based and engaging?! Miss Dena strives to create sessions that are well-planned, tons of fun and include puppetry, props, books, songs and more for preschoolers and school-age children to enjoy while effortlessly learning and retaining a beautiful and useful language! She meets children exactly where they are and allows them to participate at their ability level, her philosophy is "Inspire, Not Require". Open to all ages and abilities, these are beginner level classes. Making ASL a truly joyful experience encourages children to join in the fun!
Also available for professional development for educators, therapists, special needs caregivers or anyone who works with children in any capacity!
