Duration : 1.5 hours - Price : £20.00 - Place : South CroydonI am a passionate and enthusiastic Music Performance, Violin, Vocal, Musicianship and Music Theory teacher with 17 years experience.
I deliver private 1-to-1 lessons, group workshops, masterclasses and mentorship programs. Each program of learning is ultimately tailored to the individual/s. I am happy to teach online or in person.
I work with children, young people and adults of all ages and abilities, using fun and accessible vocational training techniques. I consider it essential to develop students' showmanship and their 'inner ear', as well as
endevouring to boost their creativity and self-confidence alongside their formal training.
I have learnt from countless trail-blazing teachers, performers, producers, directors and other creative professionals over the years. It feels to me like the perfect time to pass on this knowledge in a new way and inspire others' artistic practice, regardless of their chosen specialism.
I pride myself on being able to get on well with people of all backgrounds and I champion a person-centred, anti-prejudice and inclusive methodology.
My teaching techniques are based on the comprehensive training I have undergone over a 30 year period, as well as my experience working successfully for 16 years in the creative industries.
Many of my past students have passed music exams, acheived formal qualifications or even gone on to pursue careers in Music.
I employ a personalised approach to instrumental, vocal and performance training which guarantees that each student feels valued and their individual needs are met.
I draw upon my extensive professional experience as a stage and studio performer, specialising in Violin, Vocals, Acting, Comedy, immersive performance and Dance.
Above all else, I always try to ensure my sessions are stimulating and leave my learners feeling motivated, galvanised and ready to work or play!
