About Wang
Being willing to share traditional Chinese culture with the world, I myself have been researching not only Chinese literature and history, but also classical Chinese and different Chinese dialects. When my students or foreign friends ask me questions about Chinese, I am always patient and happy to answer them because these questions can inspire me to learn Chinese from a different perspective. In the past years, I have been the main force of the School Chinese debate team and performed quite well in varieties of competitions as well as speeches. I am also a Chinese dialect lover, so I can fluently speak Mandarin and Cantonese, as well as many other dialects. If students want to learn some more about these, I am always willing to help.

My teaching principles of of primary Chinese course are:
1. Mainly practical
2. Pay attention to pronunciation and oral Chinese
3. Lay a basic grammar system, but do not explain grammar too deeply
4. Starting from students' real life
5. Teach standard terms, proverbs, idioms and allegorical sayings. Be able to teach popular proverbs and adjust the classroom atmosphere, but the content is short, simple and easy to understand.

I had tutoring from Cheney since January 2021 in order to improve my Chinese skill. He was a tutor who was careful and full of responsibility, and he tried a lot of ways in order to help me understand Chinese more.
Wang taught me Chinese during my high school life. As an ABC, I got to know him when I attended our school's summer session, and found that he's quite goot at teaching Chinese. He taught me different functions of short phrases and the ways to use them in my daily life. He takes Chinese teaching very seriously, and the experience is beyond my expectation. A goot tutor!
