About Liam
Allow me to introduce myself! I'm Liam, a full time musician with 10 years experience working in the industry. For the past few years I've been gigging for my living both solo and with my function band "Big Shout" as a singer, guitarist & sound technician. I've recently moved from Leeds to Edinburgh and am keen to help people with their musical passions & endeavours!
As well as experience performing I've also worked in music venues and even volunteered at Leeds Specialist Autism Centre as a music tutor back in 2018. An incredibly fulfilling experience which introduced me to the world of teaching.
I look forward to hearing from you soon & in the meantime, take care!

We can start as simple or as advanced as you are comfortable with - from learning how to hold a guitar to sharpening your scales & hand movement. Every guitar player is different & we will play to your strengths whilst expanding your knowledge of the instrument in a fun & interactive way.
Each lesson will be 1hr long with the first half focused on chords, scales & reading tabs. The second half will be based around your favourite guitarists & songs. You are welcome to come to me with songs you would like to learn & I will also suggest tunes that are fun & challenging.
We can learn on acoustic or electric depending on what you are most comfortable with (for songs with any riffs high up the neck or shredding I would highly recommend electric guitar!)
I am happy to teach people of all ages, so whether you're a parent looking for a safe & patient teacher for their child or an adult hoping to improve their skills, you'll know you're in good hands.
