About Jimmy
I am a third-year Chemical Engineering student at the University of Edinburgh, combining academic rigour with a passion for teaching. Having recently navigated National 5s and Highers myself, I understand the pressure and know exactly what examiners look for. My approach is patient, methodical, and results-driven—every session builds both knowledge and confidence.

Perfect! Jimmy is everything what a brilliant chemistry tutor should be. Knowledgable, reliable, patient, with a great way of explaining things clearly and simply. He really takes the time to understand the student’s needs and makes lessons engaging and enjoyable. On top of that, great sense of humour which adds the sparkle. Highly recommended.
