About Ashley
I’m a third-year chemistry major and Arizona State University tutor who truly understands what it feels like to be stuck on a single problem for hours. That experience is what sets me apart. I don’t just teach, I relate. I’ve worked with hundreds of college students and know how to adapt to different learning styles, tailoring each session to fit your needs. I’m passionate about teaching and the subjects I tutor, and I genuinely love helping others succeed. I strive to create a warm, compassionate, and welcoming environment where you feel comfortable asking questions and growing. In my lessons, I start by explaining key concepts while identifying any gaps in understanding so we can focus on what matters most. From there, we move into practice problems where I guide students step-by-step, adjusting my explanations to fit their needs. I strongly encourage active participation students work through problems on their own, explain their reasoning, and answer guiding questions to deepen their understanding. My goal is to build both confidence and independence, so students leave not just with answers, but with the ability to approach similar problems on their own.
