This course will expose students to the fundamental aspects of Kathak including footwork, hand-movements, recitation, postures, and other fundamental aspects including Mudras and Abhinaya (Expressions). The course will start with a warm-up and practice of previously taught pieces and new learnings and will end with a cool down. Revision of previously learned things will be an important aspect and it will be ensured that every child is on the same page and gets equal attention. My idea is that students enjoy while they dance and to make every session a fun learning session.
