About Chrissie
Hello there! I'm a native-speaking Canadian who has been teaching English for over 3 years now. I also have learned other languages myself, so I know the frustration of having to learn to communicate in a new way. But I also know the immense feeling you get when you realize that you are improving! Some things about me: I have lived abroad in many countries, including Australia, Switzerland, and Ireland (my husband is actually Irish :D). I love dogs, reading books, watching good movies, going for a walk, dancing, and being an auntie to my many nieces and nephews. I look forward to hearing from you, hearing what your fears and goals are, and finding the correct lesson plan for you to conquer those fears and reach those goals. And if not with me, I still wish you luck with your English language journey!

Details
Rates given above are for private tutoring. Any test preparation classes are $45/per hour. I am trained in TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS, and CELPIP exam preparation. I also give 1-hour group conversation classes in Nanton, Alberta weekly at $20 per person. Classes are small to ensure that everyone gets a chance to speak and contribute to the conversation. Times and days are dependent on the English level of the student.
