About Tara
I am a three-time National Latin Champion, with years of competitive and academic experience in classical languages. My passion for Latin began early, and the discipline, rigour, and creativity I developed through competitions continue to shape how I teach today. Alongside my achievements in Latin, I studied at Sciences Po Paris, Columbia University, and Oxford University, where I pursued degrees spanning politics, film, and philosophy. This interdisciplinary background allows me to bring a fresh, international perspective to Latin, connecting the language to wider cultural and intellectual traditions. I love sharing this enthusiasm with students and helping them discover just how alive and rewarding Latin can be.
