About Luce
Hi! I'm a first-year undergraduate at the Courtauld Institute of Art, where I’m studying History of Art. I have always loved learning and sharing knowledge, which naturally led me to tutoring. Having recently completed my A-Levels with A*AA in History of Art, English Literature, and Latin, I understand the challenges students face and how rewarding it is to overcome them. As a native Italian speaker, I also enjoy helping others connect with language and culture. I tutor because I genuinely believe in the power of education to build confidence, curiosity, and independence. I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel encouraged, challenged, and excited to learn.

As a tutor, I focus on building confidence and deep understanding through patient, tailored support. I adapt each lesson to the student's individual needs, whether they require help with exam technique, essay writing, or broader subject knowledge. I use a mixture of discussion, close reading, and practice questions to keep lessons engaging and active. Lessons typically last one hour, but I’m flexible depending on the student's preference and attention span.
I am a second-year student at the Courtauld Institute of Art, having achieved A*AA at A-Level in History of Art, English Literature, and Latin. I also offer tutoring in Italian (native speaker), across all levels. My lessons are ideal for GCSE and A-Level students, or anyone looking to strengthen their skills in these subjects.
