About Shifah
Hi! I'm a passionate pianist and I absolutely love helping people start their musical journey. Whether you're a complete beginner or just a little rusty, I’m here to make learning piano and music theory fun, relaxed, and something you look forward to each week. My lessons are perfect for beginners of all ages — kids, teens, and adults are all welcome. Each lesson is tailored to you: we’ll go at your pace, focus on music you enjoy, and build solid skills along the way. I mix practical playing with easy to understand music theory, so you’ll not only learn how to play — you’ll understand what you’re playing too. If you’re curious about learning piano or want to give music theory a go, I’d love to help you get started!

I believe that learning music should be an enjoyable and inspiring experience, especially for beginners. My lessons are student focused, meaning I adapt my teaching style to each learner’s needs, pace, and goals. I aim to create a relaxed, encouraging environment where students feel confident and motivated. I use a mix of traditional teaching methods and creative exercises to keep lessons engaging. We’ll cover reading music, rhythm, technique, and basic theory — and I always make sure to include music that the student enjoys, to keep things fun and relevant. Lessons typically last 20-30 minutes, depending on the student's age and level. Lessons are ideal for beginners of all ages, especially those looking for a supportive introduction to piano and music theory — whether you're a young learner starting out, a parent seeking music education for your child, or an adult picking up piano for the first time.
