About Mie
I have taken two 1-year dance educations within classical styles and underground styles at Sceneindgangen Dance Studio and at Hotstepper Dance Studio. In addition, I teach children and young people in a children's cultural center and adults at a burlesque studio - and am therefore good at doing lessons that are both fun, versatile and educational - and adapted to you and your level.
I have also done dance workshops and smaller private dance shows, have a master's degree in cultural and development studies and have worked as a volunteer, teaching assistant and project manager. So I have done a bit of everything, but overall I love meeting new people and sharing my experiences and knowledge with others.
I always focus on the level of my students and from there we find a rhythm that suits you. I am often told that I am incredibly optimistic and that it is contagious - so I can guarantee a dance lesson with a lot of good energy, joy and humor.

Who do I teach:
I offer lessons for both large and small groups, for company events, private lessons, for bachelor parties or longer courses where we can work on individual development with a focus on e.g. technical improvement, body awareness and expression in dance or just learn new moves and choreographies and have fun .
I teach at all levels and all ages, whether children, young people, adults, seniors - there is room for everyone with me.
Styles:
You can choose which style you would like - it could be, for example, modern, contemporary, ballet, jazz, stretching/relaxation, hip-hop, commercial, choreography, break dance, house, dance mix, burlesque - just make a request and we'll figure something out together.
Structure:
We always start with a little warm-up, stretching, strength/technique and then we learn a choreography that we can dance a lot of times until the heart is pounding and the mood is high - and then we can also film it so you can see yourself and show it to friends and family, if you like.
