About Lesego Blessing
Hi, I'm Lesego. I hold a cybersecurity certificate and completed an intensive software engineering scholarship with a specialisation in AI. I tutor Maths, Physics, Calculus, and IT.
I got into tutoring because teaching a concept forces you to actually understand it, not just recall it. That's the standard I hold every lesson to: if I can't explain it simply, I haven't taught it well enough. My job in each session is to find the exact point where a concept stopped making sense to you and rebuild from there, rather than rushing through material you haven't fully grasped.
I'm upfront about where I stand: I'm not a veteran with decades of classroom experience, but I bring current, hands-on technical knowledge (especially in IT and problem-solving methodology) and a genuine investment in seeing you improve. I take preparation seriously, I'm reliable with scheduling, and I treat your time and your results as seriously as my own studies.
If you're stuck on a subject that's never quite clicked, or you want a tutor who explains the reasoning behind the method rather than just the steps, I'd be glad to work with you.

My approach is simple: strip a problem down to its core logic before you touch a formula. Most students get stuck not because the subject is hard, but because they've been taught to memorise steps instead of understanding why those steps work. I fix that first, then speed and confidence follow.
I hold a cybersecurity certificate and completed an intensive software engineering scholarship with a specialisation in AI, so I teach IT and Calculus/Physics with real technical grounding, not just textbook recall. I'm also currently completing a degree, so I know exactly what it takes to stay sharp under academic pressure.
Lessons are conducted in English.
A typical session starts with a quick diagnostic (where exactly is the gap?), then targeted problem-solving, worked examples, and a short recap so the concept sticks before we move on. I don't pad sessions with filler; every lesson has a clear objective.
My lessons are aimed at high school and early university/college students tackling Maths, Physics, Calculus, and/or IT, particularly those who feel "behind" or who've been taught in a way that never quite clicked. If you want someone who explains the why, not just the how, this is a good fit.
