About Emily
Since I was very little, I always loved musical theatre, but as I got older, I grew more towards music. I love singing and enjoy music. It is so fun and interesting! I completed my Grade 8 Singing with a distinction and Grade 5 Music Theory with a Merit. I have always been involved in choirs, from a Welsh Children's choir, a Choral choir and to now singing with the BBC National Chorus of Wales. With these amazing choirs, I have sang in the World Choir Games, LLangollen Eisteddfodd, St Paul's Cathedral and the Royal Albert Hall. Singing for me, has always been something I love and I hope to pass on this love to the children I teach. Music Theory, I think is a great way to understand the music you learn and perform. As I really enjoy music and working with children, currently I am training to be a Primary School Teacher with music as my Specialism. I love every step of the way, to persue my dream of becoming a teacher. My goal is for my pupils to enjoy music as much as I do and learn about how music is created. I would love to teach adults that wish to improve or learn from scratch about Music theory. I am also fully DBS checked.
I am really looking forward to teaching and helping children and adults learn more about music.
Currently, I will be only providing singing lessons for children between the age of 6-12

I will be teaching music theory grades 1-5, following the ABRSM syllabus. This includes learning about time signatures, time values, letter names of notes and so much more. I have a website that you can look at for more detailed information about what I will teach.
